Mr.  Akindele Akintoye is the firm’s Principal Partner. He heads the Banking, Investment and Finance Department of the firm. He has midwifed the formation and equity financing of several successful corporate organizations including banks (Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, Hillcrest Merchant Bank Ltd , New Prudential Mortgage Bank Ltd,  Vigeo Holdings Ltd) among others. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (UK).. He was appointed by the Supreme Court of Nigeria as a Notary Public in 1990. He is a licensed capital market solicitor in Nigeria.

Mr. Adeyemi is the head of Regulatory and Compliance department of the practice. Having worked at strategic department of the Central Bank of Nigeria at senior level for many years and also as Executive Director of Gateway Bank Ltd ( Defunct ), Mr. Adeyemi is completely at home in rendering practical investment and divestment opinions on diverse aspects of the Nigerian economy. His skills in processing compliance with official and Governmental regulations/ business requirements are remarkable. Mr. Adeyemi has also advised on several big ticket property projects and financing.

The experience he gained from the numerous trainings and seminars in Nigeria, Switzerland, Kenya, & USA have consistently aided his delivery in the practice.

Mr. Lekan Bade-John (formerly Lekan Awogbemila) is the Managing Partner and head of the litigation department of the practice. He has been in active legal practice (litigation) since his call to the Nigerian Bar in 1989. He started practice with the law firm of Dr. Olu Onagoruwa, SAN in 1989 and has remained in litigation practice till date. His area of specialization in litigation and arbitration are banking, commercial law, property law, oil and gas and insolvency. He is also a deft negotiator in commercial transactions.

Mr. Lekan Bade-John has been involved in numerous litigations at the Lagos State High Courts, Oyo State High Courts, Akwa Ibom State High Court, Kaduna State High Court, Rivers State High Court, Enugu State High Court, Federal High Courts, Court of appeal (Lagos, Calabar, Ibadan, Kaduna and Ilorin).

His skills in debt recovery vide litigation has yielded Millions of dollars and Billions of Naira in debt repayments to corporate bodies both in the banking and oil & gas sectors of the Nigerian economy.

He has participated in several arbitration proceedings either as arbitrator or as counsel.

Mrs. Grace Oghenovo is the Head of Chambers at Alliance Legal. She is of the firm’s corporate and commercial practice department. Alliance Legal is company secretary to several companies and Mrs. Oghenovo coordinates all the companies’ secretarial matters inclusive of convening of board and general meetings, maintenance of registers and filing of notices of all changes in the companies’ records with the Corporate Affairs Commission. She interfaces with various regulatory agencies and provides advisory services pertaining to general corporate law.

She has vast experience in litigation, dispute resolution, debt recovery and employment law. As a litigator, she has represented clients on a broad range of commercial transactions in court.

Mrs. Oghenovo also provides legal opinions on various issues of law for clients and has been involved in several due diligence exercises and reviews, commercial negotiation, drafting and review of wide range of contracts.

KENNETH KELLE

Kenneth Kelle is a Senior Associate in the law firm. He joined the practice in 2010 and he is the pivot of the Oil & Gas department.His flair for litigation has made him to be dependable in corporate and commercial litigation. His possession and knack for in-depth analyses has enabled him to garner considerable experience in transactional services in real estate, debt recovery and general legal advisory services to clients. Having acquired a Masters degree in Tax and Energy Laws he is always eager to demonstrate competence.

He has in the past served as the Pioneer Assistant Editor of Monthly Report of Supreme Court Judgments at which time he gathered practical experience in research and opinion writing; skills which have stood him in good stead in writing legal brief writing for appellate courts . He has attended and participated in organizing several seminars and conferences in related areas of his practice and interest.

Mrs. LIlian Okoloagu is an Associate Counsel in Alliance Legal. She is of the firm’s litigation department.

Mrs. Okoloagu also advises on regulatory compliance matters, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and contributing to due diligence exercise on project transactions.

Sinmisola is an Associate Counsel in the firm. She obtained her LLB from Olabisi Onabanjo University in 2009, She proceeded in Nigerian Law School and was called to bar in 2011.

She has a strong passion for Company Secretarial, Arbitration and other Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanism, Corporate Commercial and Legal Research . She joined Alliance Legal in 2015. She was an intern at Fred Orbih SAN & Co.

TRACY REUBEN

Tracy Reuben obtained her LL.B degree from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State in 2015 and proceeded to the Nigeria Law School, where she was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016.

She thereafter carried out her compulsory one year National Youth Service in the Ministry of Justice, Jos, Plateau State in 2017 where she gained experience in Litigation.

During the NYSC programme, she was a member of  the Legal AIDS CDS group where she was active in rendering pro-bono legal services.

In 2018, she joined the law firm of Alliance Legal and acquired further experience in Litigation, Probate Services, Dispute Resolution, Corporate Services, Debt Recovery amongst others.

She is currently undergoing her LL.M programme at the University of Lagos.

Her practice areas include but not limited to litigation, Probate Services, Dispute Resolution and Debt Recovery.
